Shopping Information, Delivery and Returns

Shopping with us
Using the links at the left of the screen select a shopping category. Once inside the shopping category, you can view the items in that category. If you decide to purchase the item, select which size or colour you want from the menu and click on 'Add to basket'.
- Adding an item to your basket is not a commitment to buy. You can delete the item if you change your mind.
- At any time to review your order click 'View basket'
- When you have finished shopping check the items you have in your basket and if they are correct, click on 'Proceed to checkout'.
- After this you will provide delivery and contact details. Please select the preferred method of payment and select 'Submit Form'
- You will then be directed to either ProTx or PayPal to complete payment.
- If you have opted to pay by Cheque/PO you will be given details of where to send your cheque/PO, which should be sent with the order reference.

Payment
We welcome most major credit cards. ProTx & PayPal are the secure payment processors for The Leather Works. We also accept payments by cheque and postal order. Prices are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of the order is the price of the products ordered, the delivery is free of charge.

Delivery
Delivery is usually made by Royal Mail or Parcelforce.

Delivery times
For mainland UK, we aim to deliver within 5 working days (in case of payment by cheque, 5 days after clearance). For EU, USA and other countries please allow 10-14 days.

Delivery areas
We deliver to all UK mainland addresses and addresses in the Channel Islands. We also deliver to the EU, USA and most other countries for all items except furniture.

Delivery address options
You can specify a different delivery address from your billing address. For example, if you wish to order a gift you may ask us to send it to the person directly. Just fill in your chosen delivery address details on the order form.

Returns
We guarantee to refund any item you're not totally happy with completely free of charge, when you return it within 14 days of receipt. Refunds will be made by a credit to your card, PayPal account or cheque. For furniture returns please contact us so we can arrange a collection

Product information
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the web site. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

All sizes and measurements are approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the web site are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published including prices and promotions.

Goods are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when the order is placed and the time when the order is accepted, the stock position relating to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we shall notify you as soon as possible.

Purchase of products
When you place an order request on our web site we shall email you an acknowledgement of your intended order. Our acceptance of an order takes place, the purchase contract will be made and you will be charged.

We reserve the right to refuse an order. In which case we will immediatly fully refund your payment. Non-acceptance of an order may result from one of the following:
- The product ordered being unavailable from stock
- Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment
- The identification of an error within the product information including price or promotion.

If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.

The laws of England shall govern the contract between us and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England. Your statutory rights are not affected.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the web site.

General We shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage, which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this web site.

All rights, including copyright, in this web site are owned by or licensed to Asia Dragon. Any use of the site or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Asia Dragon.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

email address
credit/debit card details (these are collected by ProTx and PayPal and are not available to Asia Dragon)

We will never collect sensitive information about you. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

We use technology to track the patterns of behavior of visitors to our site. This includes using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Is it safe to pay over the internet?
Yes, it's safe to pay over the internet. The information you send us is encrypted. This means that nobody can read it as it travels across the internet.

We use ProTx & PayPal for direct secure debit/credit card payments or an internationally recognised ebay company called PayPal to process the transactions who on our behalf will receive your payment using their secure servers.

Normally web site addresses begin "http" - the address for a secure site will always begin with "https". This is what you will notice when making a payment. You will also notice a small 'Padlock' logo in the status bar of the browser window which shows again that the site is secure.

Once your credit/debit card details have been submitted and your credit/debit card company has approved the payment, the payment will be processed.

Paying on-line is much safer than giving your details on the phone or on a written form.
